Going down the aisle pregnant could have caused serious problems for Joseph and Mary. Customs and civil laws of the times would have put their very lives at risk along with the Christ child .
In fact there was a decree issued from the big shots in charge to have children under a certain age wiped right out .
No where does it say being a follower of God will be a cakewalk, But the Word does say God will never put more on you than you can handle and God always gives you a way out .
Mary and Joseph kept wise to the situation . Mary did the opposite of flaunt her pregnancy . She kept it on the hush hush .
The humble shall inherit the Kingdom of God
